We create opportunities for UM students to learn about Brazil as well as for Brazilian students to learn about UM.

We use the power of social media and other communication tools to communicate the results of our research to a broad audience in both Brazil and the US.

We establish long-term partnerships with scientists, corporations, foundations, non-profit organizations in both Brazil and the US to work collaboratively toward the Initiative’s goals.
